Aluminum Surface Finishing Services

Alusat provides anodizing, powder coating, polishing and brushing for aluminum profiles and components — protecting parts and meeting appearance and corrosion-resistance specifications for global OEM customers.

Aluminum Surface Finishing Services

Alusat provides surface finishing that protects aluminum components and meets appearance, wear and corrosion requirements. Anodizing, powder coating, polishing and brushing are applied in house, so a raw or machined part leaves as a finished, specification-compliant component.

Anodized and powder coated aluminum surface finishing at Alusat

Finish is often what determines a part’s service life and first impression. By keeping finishing in house alongside our other processes, we control preparation, thickness and adhesion rather than handing that responsibility to a third party.

Finishing Routes

FinishBenefit
AnodizingHard, decorative, insulating oxide layer on aluminum (clear, black or bronze).
Powder CoatingDurable, uniform color and protection (standard and custom RAL).
PolishingBright, reflective finish for decorative parts.
BrushingSatin, directional grain for a consistent non-glare surface.
Custom aluminum extrusion components prepared for surface finishing by Alusat

Process and Thickness Control

We control coating thickness to avoid interfering with mating features and verify it against the drawing. Adhesion and appearance are checked before release. Typical ranges include:

  • Anodizing — 5–25 µm oxide layer, clear or dyed.
  • Powder coating — 40–80 µm cured polymer, standard and custom RAL colors.
  • Polishing — mechanical or chemical for a bright reflective surface.
  • Brushing — directional grain for a consistent matte appearance.

Combined Finishing for Protection and Color

Where a part needs both protection and color, we can combine processes — for example, anodize then dye, or chrome-free pretreatment then powder coat — and will advise on the most cost-effective route for your environment and volume.

Industries Served

  • Architecture — curtain-wall sections, window and door frames with durable anodized or coated surfaces.
  • Automotive & EV — wear- and appearance-critical exterior and interior parts.
  • Electronics — enclosures and heatsinks with controlled surface properties.
  • LED lighting — housing extrusions with consistent decorative finishes.
  • Solar energy — outdoor frames and rails resistant to corrosion.
  • Marine — salt-resistant anodized and coated components.

Design for Manufacturability

We review finish selection against the service environment and part geometry, and advise on masking and tolerances so the finish performs as intended. Because extrusion, machining and finishing are co-located, we iterate quickly when a design changes.
